Design the scoreboard

The match slide is what the display shows during the match: teams, score, clock, period and, if you like, logos, title and time of day. You design it once for your profile; it applies to every match.

Prerequisite: basic knowledge of the editor (The editor). Do not change the match slide during a match; do it calmly beforehand.

Select Edit match slide…: in Preparation → Match in the Display card, in the gear menu of the stadium display, or in Live in the menu of the Stadium output card.

The editor shows two designs at the top, Scoreboard and Layout. The selected tab is the design you are editing.

  • Data fields for team names and logos, the score (combined or separately for home and away), the match timer, the period, added time, the time of day, the match title, kickoff and countdown. They always show the real values of the current match.
  • Your own texts and images, for example a sponsor logo.
  • Font, size, colour and position of every element.

Sample match data below the artboard shows long team names and a two-digit score, so you can check that everything fits without changing the match.

Lock position and size in the element list protects an element from being moved by accident.

  1. Select Apply to display (Cmd/Ctrl+S). The display shows the new design immediately; the score and the clock stay as they are.
  2. Select File → Apply and save profile so the design is kept after a restart.

Until you apply, the audience sees none of your changes.

  • File → Discard changes… closes the editor and keeps the applied design.
  • File → Reset design restores the built-in design. Undo brings your draft back.

If someone else changes the profile in the meantime, Scorilo refuses to apply. File → Reload applied design then opens the current design.
