Music, announcements and signals

Scorilo plays sound through the computer’s audio output that is selected in your operating system. Connect your PA system there and check the volume before every match.

The Music card in Pre-game and Break plays your music list. In Live it is called Stadium sound and shows only the essentials.

  1. In the Music card, choose the source (for example Local music), then Edit music….
  2. Select Import audio… for files from your computer or Choose from media… for music already in Scorilo.
  3. Order the tracks with Move up and Move down.
  4. Select Save.

Play, next, previous and the volume slider control the music. The shuffle icon turns on random playback; Repeat plays the list again and again.

On a Mac, Scorilo can control the Music app and play its playlists. Choose Apple Music as the source and select Connect. If macOS asks whether Scorilo may control the Music app, allow it (later under System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation). Your Apple account stays in the Music app; Scorilo does not store any credentials.

  • Kickoff: When the clock starts, Scorilo fades the music out over 2 seconds and pauses it.
  • Videos with sound: If a display program item has Video sound, the music fades out first and continues after the video.
  • Announcement: The music gets quieter (see below).

Music never starts by itself, not even at half-time.

  1. Select Announcement at the bottom of the control window.
  2. Choose a template or read from your notes.
  3. Select Start announcement. The music drops to at most 15 % within half a second.
  4. Select End announcement. The volume returns.

The microphone runs through your PA system; Scorilo does not record anything.

The Quick media card in Live plays a cheer, a goal anthem or a short video with one click. Simple shows the first three buttons, Advanced all of them (four to six).

  1. In Quick media, select Customize.
  2. Choose a button on the left, then its Medium, or Import audio / video….
  3. Enter a Label.
  4. Set how long an image or video stays: Until pressed again or a number of Display seconds. Fade in and out blends smoothly.
  5. Under Visible buttons, choose how many buttons Live shows.
  6. Select Save changes.

Pressing a button starts it, pressing it again stops it. A right-click opens Edit button… and Remove assignment. In Advanced, Alt+1 to Alt+6 play the buttons.

A button that matches a match event, such as Goal or Card, can record that event at the same time. In the Goal flow section you set which goal scene is shown after a goal.

Under Settings → Sound you choose sounds for the clock:

  • Play sound on start, optionally Play only on the first start after reset,
  • Play sound automatically at 00:00 for a clock counting down,
  • Also play on manual stop.

MP3, WAV and OGG files work. The choice takes effect immediately; Save Profile keeps it. You can play the selected sound at any time with Control → Play Horn or Buzzer (Cmd/Ctrl+B).

Whether a signal plays automatically at the end of a period is shown in the Sequence card in Preparation → Timing. For halves, thirds and quarters it is off at first.

Stop all media in the bottom left corner (Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+X) stops the display program, music, quick media, signals and a running announcement. The display then shows the score; the clock keeps running.
